近日，比亞迪集團(tuán)全資子公司弗迪電池有限公司（FDB）必和必拓達(dá)成了諒解備忘錄（MOU）。

FinDreams Battery Co., Ltd (FDB), a fully owned subsidiary of BYD Group, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with BHP.

必和必拓充分認(rèn)識(shí)到，實(shí)現(xiàn)自身運(yùn)營(yíng)溫室氣體（范圍1和范圍2）凈零排放離不開創(chuàng)新的解決方案。為此，必和必拓與弗迪電池建立了緊密的合作關(guān)系，共同探索如何將現(xiàn)有技術(shù)和新興技術(shù)有效運(yùn)用于其在全球的礦山運(yùn)營(yíng)。

Recognising the need for innovative solutions to tackle Scopes 1 and 2 emissions, BHP is working closely with FDB to explore the application of existing and emerging technologies across its operations.

雙方將共同致力于研究探索適用于重型采礦設(shè)備和機(jī)車的動(dòng)力電池系統(tǒng)解決方案及其配套的閃充基礎(chǔ)設(shè)施。此外，雙方還將合力探索在必和必拓的礦山使用比亞迪商用車輛和輕型車輛，從而推動(dòng)必和必拓礦山運(yùn)輸所需的柴油替代技術(shù)進(jìn)程。

雙方在上述領(lǐng)域的合作與必和必拓的長(zhǎng)期愿景目標(biāo)高度契合，即在2050年之前實(shí)現(xiàn)運(yùn)營(yíng)溫室氣體凈零排放（源自必和必拓自營(yíng)資產(chǎn)的范圍1和范圍2排放）。

BHP and FDB will jointly investigate powertrain battery solutions for heavy mining equipment and locomotives with their adjacent flash-charging infrastructure, as well as explore BYD commercial vehicles and light vehicles for use in mining applications to support diesel displacement journey.

These efforts are aligned with BHP’s long-term goal to achieve net zero operational greenhouse gas emissions (Scopes 1 and 2 from its operated assets) by CY2050.

BYD, a global leader in battery cell development and a rapidly growing name in electric light vehicle production, brings unparalleled experience in electric vehicle solutions and electric buses. By engaging with BYD, BHP aims to assess the relevance and development of these technologies for mining applications, whilst also exploring applications for BYD’s broader portfolio in energy storage and battery recycling.

This strategic collaboration aims to identify pathways to further enable the decarbonisation of BHP’s mining operations and support a decarbonised future for the resources industry.
